Stabbed in the back

03/03/2026

For as far long as I can remember I’ve been about the greater good.

But all too often, people are about the greater benefit for self.

The body tells all.

I've been experiencing discomfort between my shoulder blade and spine. Interestingly, the very clear message that I’ve been getting through it is ‘being stabbed in the back’.

I’ve been in jobs in the past where I want the  team, department, business to succeed, but there have been individuals who have been looking out for themselves, which is included bitching and gossiping, withholding information.

I worked with individuals being disrespectful to me in front of clients; taking what they can from me (tools, my ideas/work, time and expertise) and claiming as their own; behaving poorly and it’s mine or someone else’s fault; delivering pretty shitty quality work and telling me it’s as good as it’ll be and despite clarifying expectations doing more of the same; people and businesses choosing poor performance/performers over the quality of work and success I’ve supported them with.

What are the lessons?

This is not a blame game of my life. It's a reflection. My body is asking me to look at something that hasn't been resolved, processed, integrated.

Reviewing all of the experiences, the main message is to trust my intuition.

I've always felt a little feeling in my gut or in my heart when something or someone is not quite right for me - when there is something off about them, i.e., they are not operating in integrity.

This has shown up in the phyiscal as being overly nice but only because it benefit themselves, inviting me to participate in activities, saying "it was not my intention", apologising lots.

What then manifests when I haven't listened to my intuition:

  • contradictions with words and actions
  • gaslighting
  • targetted questions to you like "who do you think you are?", "what gives you the right to xyz?"
  • creating justification of their behaviours through sharing their version of reality (experienced or made-up) with others instead of speaking with you directly

All too often, I’ve accommodated, made space for others needs at the detriment of myself - in my home, in my work, with other professionals in my network, with spiritual leaders and teachers I work with/for, with friends.

So the lesson, to trust my intuition and honour my boundaries - the care and support i give to others must be equal to the care and support I give myself.

I am the Creator.

The deeper reflection.

So within - So without. As above - So below.

So we ask the questions:

  • What part of me is creating this experience?
  • What part of me is backstabbing me?

And then allow the insights to come. (I may circle back to this in another post, when they are revealed.)

Moving forward.

My body has been communicating this message quite loudly at the moment, which is telling me that there’s something going on in my world right now, that needs my attention around being stabbed in the back and listening to my intuition.

What about you?

I wonder if your body is communicating something to you.

If you’re experiencing some heightened discomfort, pain or irritation in the body this is your whole system trying to raise your awareness about something that is not in alignment with you.

If you’re not quite sure what that is, get in touch, by email, or book in a session via my contact me page.

With hugs, love and magic,

Bhavna xx
